Aug 22, 2019 New Features Added to Mac OS X Leopard 10.5. This new Mac OS Leopard 10.5 ISO comes with many new features like: Mac OS X Leopard 10.5 ISO & DMG. An improved Automator is introduced. It can create and edit work with the new interface. A new feature ‘watch me do’ is introduced that record user action and reply as an action in a work. A friend recently gave me his old PowerBook G4 12' 1.33 PPC processor notebook. It's running Mac OS X Panther (10.3) so I'm trying to upgrade to Leopard (as Snow Leopard isn't supported). Unfortunately I couldn't find a place to buy it from Apple.com, so a friend gave me a.dmg file he had.
Devices and Mac OS X version
VLC media player requires Mac OS X 10.7.5 or later. It runs on any 64bit Intel-based Mac. Previous devices are supported by older releases.
Note that the first generation of Intel-based Macs equipped with Core Solo or Core Duo processors is no longer supported. Please use version 2.0.10 linked below.

- I have a PowerBook G4 Titanium 500 that I hooked up to my PowerBook G4 1500 in Firewire Disk mode and installed. I did this after my 10.4 HD format became corrupt and wanted to have the Leopard features. The biggest problem I have found is the video driver. It has a ATI RageM3 video chip with only 8MB and Core Image runs in software mode.
- Mac OS X Leopard Install DVDVersion 10.5.42Z691-6232-A. If anyone has trouble getting this burned disc to be seen during the initial disc boot phase, I've found the G4/G5 factory optical drives are pretty terrible at reading burned DVDs.
Web browser plugin for Mac OS X
Support for NPAPI plugins was removed from all modern web browsers, so VLC's plugin is no longer maintained. The last version is 3.0.4 and can be found here. It will not receive any further updates.
